Threaded by just a few walk-in style primitive campsites, Sandhill Station State Campground is geared toward the more minimalist among us, boasting neither electricity and limited drinking and showering facilities. That being said, once you’re fully setup amongst the area’s namesake oak savanna, you’ll be wondering why anyone would want superfluous amenities to distract them from the beguiling scenery.
