Quaker Area Campground

Come on down to Allegany State Park’s Quaker Area campground for a night, a weekend, or an extended getaway. There are tons of camping options available here, from tent sites to well-stocked cabins. It’s one of two developed spots within the park, and you’ll be a stone’s throw away from lovely hiking trails (including one that will lead you through teeny tiny spaces to the Bear Caves), two lakes, and other outdoor fun. Sunbathe and swim near the sandy beach, fish off of one of the two piers, or launch your kayak or canoe at the access point. If that doesn’t sound like enough to keep you occupied, take a hike and discover hidden caves, play a game of horseshoes, check out a program at the amphitheater, or hang out in your cabin. Nature and convenience definitely win “Class Couple” out here.
